TYPES OF CVD AND MAIN RISK FACTORS
Atherosclerosis and high blood pressure are major risk factors for many types of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and preventing and treating them is important. Other types of CVD are arrhythmias, diseases of the heart valves, cardiomyopathy, and heart diseases that are present at birth. Genetics, infections and even autoimmune disorders can cause these problems.
There is positive news out of The Texas Heart Institute in Houston. In an article entitled: ‘After years of failure, study finds hearts were ‘pumping stronger’ after stem cell therapy.’ Cardiologist Dr. Emerson Perin said: «We followed these patients during several years and what we found was that their hearts got stronger. We found a very significant reduction in heart attack and stroke» in patients with high levels of inflammation.
At the Stem Cell Healing Institute, our stem cell therapy works by replacing damaged or dead heart or blood vessel cells with healthy stem cells, which can help to improve blood flow and heart function while increasing Angiogenesis (generation of new blood vessels) and decreasing inflammation.
POSITIVE STEM CELL THERAPY NEWS FOR PATIENTS WITH HEART PROBLEMS
In findings recently published in February 2023 in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, “stem cell therapy reduced the risk of heart attack and stroke and improved the heart’s pumping ability, especially in patients who have high levels of inflammation.”
According to Dr Emerson C Perin, PhD, FACC, the Medical Director at The Texas Heart Institute, the stem cell therapy treatment gave patients a “58 percent reduced risk of heart attack or stroke, and the benefits rose to 75 percent in patients with high inflammation.”
