What do you do in the medical field?
I am a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in British Columbia, Canada. Here in BC, we have a wide scope of practice as an ND, where we provide primary care to patient and is able to obtain the ability to prescribe prescription drugs, run lab work, and provide IV and injection therapies, among other modalities.
Why do you believe in Stem Cell Healing Institute?
Naturopathic doctors approach medicine from the perspective of assessing and treating the whole person. We do not believe that symptoms are the disease and that medicine is about symptoms management. There are certain times (for example, in acute cases) that symptoms management is the priority and focus; however, long term chronic concerns should have a multifaceted, multi-systemic approach. We believe in the interconnections of body systems working together to reach balance (homeostasis). We want to focus on the root causes of the patient’s «DIS-EASE” when able. We believe in the natural healing capacity of the body; that we are built to heal and to reestablish homeostasis when given the right sets of conditions. We do this by treating patients functionally, holistically and multi-systemically. We also understand that healing happen when the approach happens in the right sequence, at the right levels and with the right remedies / treatments.
I believe Stem Cell Institute uses this approach as Dr. Zahra is always looking for the root causes to «dis-ease» and the right methods to facilitate healing; she is not only looking for ways to ameliorate symptoms. Stem cells provide a platform for one’s body to truly potentiate one’s natural healing abilities; however, at the Stem Cell Healing Institute, potentiating stem cell therapy itself starts with Dr. Zahra ensuring that the patients has done their due diligence to provide the most optimal terrain for stem cells treatments to be most successful.
What is a different factor about the Stem Cell Healing Institute?
Without a doubt the differentiating factor is Dr. Zahra herself! After several meetings with her and seeing the results post treatment for several shared patients, I believe she IS the differentiating factor from other clinics. Aside from being one of the most knowledgeable doctors I’ve met, she is also very compassionate to her patients and to people in general. Her desire to help each individual creates an environment where the patient feels completely supported, has the confidence that this therapy will help and the knowledge that Dr. Zahra provides care far beyond expectations. As mentioned previously, setting the terrain for optimal acceptance and performance of the treatments at SCHI is a major factor. Many clinics are wanting to push stem cell treatments as the end all be all treatment, however, Dr. Zahra is looking for the correct timing of the treatment by assessing the when and how it should be done.
Dr. Zahra and I share a common philosophy that it is paramount to treat our patients with the best available technology that is the right treatment, at the right level and in the right sequence. She has instilled this philosophy for patient care and approach to medicine at the Stem Cell Healing Institute.
Because stem cell treatments are unavailable in Canada, I recommend all my patients whom I feel would benefit to the Stem Cell Healing Institute. Thank you Dr. Zahra, you have been amazing with my patients and have provided care beyond anyone’s expectations. Because our patients are so much better health-wise, my heart is full in knowing that I have sent them to the right place.
